| It is one of Europe’s greatest spa complexes. A physiotherapeutical department, run as part of an outpatient hospital, in addition to the medicinal water and the lovely surroundings, ensure the healing for visitors. This spa is not only extraordinary for its medicinal water and the large area it occupies, but is also special for the care manifested in the architecture of its facilities; the sculptures and glass mosaics decorating the spa were made by Hungary’s leading artists. |
| Composition of the water: Thermal water containing sodium, calcium-magnesium-hydrocarbonate and sulphates, with significant fluoride and metaboric acid contents. The drinking water contains: calcium-magnesium-hydrocarbonates, chlorides, sulphates and alkalines, with significant fluoride concrentration. Indications: - Degenerative disorders of joints and the spine (eg.: joints of the hips and knees), - chronic arthritis, - rehabilitation after ortopedic surgery and trauma – vertebral disease (deformity, disorders of the vertebral disks, lumboischialgia, Bechterew-disease), - chronic arthritis in inactive stages, - neuralgic pain, - bone loss. Drinking therapy indications: - Gastric hyperaciditis - Chronic nephritis and urinary diseases - Some forms of renal calculi diseases - Chronic inflammatory airway diseases - Prevention and treatment of bone loss and osteoporosis - Influencing gout related metabolic disorders - Stimulation of bile evacuation in case of bileous gland and biliary tract disorders. |
