The Ottoman Arslan pasha started the construction of this spa in 1565 in order to have a
spa within the city walls, at a secured close location even if the city were under siege. In
1796 it was reconstructed into its present form. This old style spa is one of the very rare
historic relics that remained from the Ottoman times, it is now a protected relic, presenting
to us the early Ottoman bath culture in its original beauty.

Its thermal water supply system is fed through a pipeline from Lukács Medicinal Spa. This
spa is open for men and women.
Composition of the water:
Thermal water containing sodium and calcium-magnesium-hydrocarbonates and
sulphates, with significant fluoride contents.

Indications:
Degenerative disorders of joints and the spine (deformity, disorders of the vertebral disks,
lumboischialgia, Bechterew-disease), chronic arthritis in inactive stages, neuralgic pains,
bone loss, post traumatic treatments.
